FAQ

  • What is the difference between a food sensitivity and a Food Intolerance?

A food sensitivity is mediated by the immune system. Many times, this long list of “sensitivities” are simply foods that the body has seen too frequently during a period of inflammation (i.e., Leaky Gut, Dysbiosis, etc), further exciting the immune response and in turn, aggravating the digestive tract.

A food intolerance on the other hand is a food group that your body does not have the enzymes to breakdown. Your food intolerance does not change over time, and we have found it is the primary cause of GI irritation, systemic inflammation, malabsorption of nutrients, and toxicity in the body.

  • Do I need to cut out my intolerance completely or just partially?

For so many things, moderation is key. For this however, it is an all or nothing game.

If you are not ready to cut out your intolerance completely, we suggest holding off a bit until you are ready to take the deep dive, because even the smallest additive in a food can be causing distress on the body. Without cutting it out in it’s entirety, you may see no change for the better.

The elders in the community suggest that each person’s intolerance is poison to that person’s body. If you look at it that way, would you ever say to yourself “is it ok if I just have a little bit of poison”?

  • What is the expansion series #1 & #2?

The expansion series looks at 30 additional triggers that may be causing irritation in the body. If these food groups do indeed test positive for a person, they are considered a secondary intolerance.

While they are labeled Secondary Intolerances, they are just as important as a Primary Intolerance. Staying away from these food groups are crucial.

  • If I have a food or supplement in question, can I get it evaluated?

Absolutely! Here is how it works:

    1. First check the database. There are thousands of food items already tested for each intolerance located on the database. If you have ordered and completed your Food Intolerance, you will have received the link and access code for this database.

    2. If the specific food item you are looking to have tested is not on the database, send it in and we will test it against your sample. Click Here to send in a sample.

  • Does everyone have a food intolerance?

The answer is yes. We have found that every person has at least one primary intolerance and one combination intolerance.

Everyone is affected differently. For some, cutting out their intolerance has changed their entire world for the better. Others may find that they simply have more energy or less brain fog. Regardless, cutting out a food group that is causing constant inflammation in the body is something every person will benefit from.
